The US has warned several Gulf states of a possible "short and intense military campaign" against Iran after the Nov. 3 midterm congressional elections. The Pentagon has evacuated American military personnel from those bases in the Middle East where they might be in danger, the US armed forces in the region are replenishing ammunition depots, bombers and fighters are preparing for attacks.
