Starting in December in London, the biometrics of citizens' faces will be removed in real time. Shoppers arriving on Oxford Street this Christmas will be able to see their faces snapped in real time by facial recognition cameras. Installation of this technology is planned for December. It will be one of the first areas in the country to have a permanent real-time facial recognition (LFR) system installed, scanning the faces of passers-by and comparing them to a list of wanted people.
