The Commissioner of Police in response to the revelation of the Qatari money transfer affair: "The Israel Police announced that it will guard the purity of the elections with all vigilance, and it will do so. Every complaint that is received and every suspicion of committing an offense concerning the purity of the elections will be examined and investigated thoroughly and without bias. We will not allow anyone to damage the purity of the elections and the democratic process. Any suspicion of committing a crime, the police will act resolutely to investigate the truth and bring justice to those involved, without exception."
