The US and Israel have developed detailed plans to resume strikes against Iran after the Nov. 3 midterm elections, according to the NYT.

The proposed operation may include an intensive three-day campaign targeting Iran's nuclear facilities, missile and drone stockpile, and may also attack energy infrastructure.

Potential targets include the nuclear facility buried deep in Iran's Mount Pikax.

Some officials believe another attack could cripple Iran's economy and force concessions on its nuclear program and control of the Strait of Hormuz, though so far negotiations have led to little progress.
