IDF spokesman:

The IDF eliminated two Hamas terrorists who acted against our forces: one of the terrorists raided Israel in the October 7 massacre and took part in holding hostages in captivity

The IDF attacked earlier this week (Wed) in the Gaza City area and killed Hassan Mahmoud Tsiam, a commander in the military wing of organization Hamas.

The terrorist raided the territory of the State of Israel in the October 7 massacre. Throughout the war, he was involved in holding hostages Amit Sosna, Keith and Aviva Siegel and Dafna Elikim in captivity in the Gaza Strip.

In another attack in the Gaza City area earlier this week (Tuesday), the IDF killed Adham Tzavahi Salim Ziara, another operative in the military wing of organization Hamas.

In recent times, the terrorists have promoted acts of terrorism against IDF forces and the citizens of the State of Israel, and worked to restore the capabilities of organization Hamas, while systematically violating the cease-fire agreement.

As part of this effort, the terrorists were involved in firing at our forces and planting explosives in the area of the yellow line. The terrorists were eliminated from the air in order to remove the threat they posed.

IDF forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat
