To remove a threat: the IDF eliminated two terrorists from organization Hamas, including a commander who took part in transferring millions of shekels to the organization

The IDF attacked yesterday (Thursday) in the area of Deir al-Balah and eliminated Jaber Mabi, a terrorist in the military wing of organization Hamas.

The terrorist led the 'Maqbal' exchange network which transferred millions of shekels in foreign currency to organization Hamas. These funds are used by the organization to finance terrorists, restore military infrastructure and promote terrorist plots against our forces.

The IDF continues to concentrate efforts on damaging the financing capabilities of the military activity of organization Hamas, to prevent the restoration of its infrastructure and military capabilities.

In another attack yesterday (Thursday) in the Khan Yunis area, the IDF killed Hassan Albata, a sniper operative in the military wing of organization Hamas.

In recent times, the terrorists have promoted acts of terrorism against IDF forces and citizens of the State of Israel and worked to restore the organization's capabilities, while systematically violating the ceasefire. The terrorists were eliminated from the air in order to remove the threat.

IDF forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat.
