Severe incident at an IDF outpost inside the Gaza Strip:

A Gaza suspect managed to breach the yellow line and entered almost into the IDF outpost of the 99th Division located in the northern Gaza Strip. The suspect reached the IDF's armored vehicle, climbed onto the outpost's gun platform – and was then identified by the soldier securing the outpost at the entrance, who initiated a suspect arrest procedure.

The Gaza suspect was unarmed, and the IDF claims that “no breach of the outpost occurred,” but the footage clearly shows the suspect reaching right up to the outpost's entrance, and had he been armed the incident could have ended very differently.

The IDF did not report the incident to the public nor provided real‑time updates – even though it happened three weeks ago. Details of the incident and the footage were released only this evening.

It concerns the IDF, according to a statement:

The incident will be investigated and lessons will be drawn. In this case, no breach of a military outpost was carried out.

During the incident, a suspect arrest procedure was carried out; the suspect was detained and transferred for interrogation.
