The IDF and the Shin Bet eliminated the head of organization the Popular Resistance Committee in Khan Yunis.

The IDF and the Shin Bet attacked yesterday (Wednesday) in the Khan Yunis area of the Gaza Strip and killed Ramadan Muhammad Ashhadeh Diab, who served as the head of the Popular Resistance Committee in Khan Yunis.

The Popular Resistance Committee is a Palestinian terrorist organization established in 2000. This organization, which in the past was subordinate to the Fatah movement, is now linked to organizations Hamas, Hezbollah and the Revolutionary Guards of the Iranian terrorist regime. The organization's terrorists took part in an attack on the territory of the country on October 7, murdering and kidnapping civilians and soldiers to the Gaza Strip. Throughout the war, the organization carried out a large number of terrorist plots against our forces in cooperation with Hamas.

Throughout the war, and especially recently, promoted acts of terrorism against IDF forces and the citizens of the State of Israel and worked to restore the capabilities of organization Hamas, while systematically violating the ceasefire. The terrorist was eliminated from the air in order to remove the threat he posed.

The security forces are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat.
