A joint statement to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz:

Tonight in Gaza, the IDF thwarted Ezz-Aladdin Bich, the commander of the northern Gaza division of organization Hamas, who was engaged in terrorist plots against our forces and worked to recruit terrorist operatives to the organization.

We praise the IDF and the Shin Bet for their determined activity against the commanders of Hamas and its terrorists.

We will continue to hunt down and pursue all terrorists of the organization, from its commanders to the last of its operatives, wherever they hide - until there is no Hamas in Gaza.
