Defense Minister Israel Katz directed the IDF to impose a general lockdown in Judea and Samaria

Defense Minister Israel Katz ordered to impose a general closure on Judea and Samaria starting today (Sunday), and this in accordance with the recommendation of the IDF.

As part of the guidelines, Palestinian workers will not be allowed to enter Judea and Samaria settlements during the Sukkot holiday and the Holy Week.

The entry of essential workers into the industrial areas in Judea and Samaria will be permitted in accordance with the security guidelines of the Central Command.

Also, exceptional permits will not be approved, with the exception of permits arising from the state's obligations to the High Court.
