The "New York Times" reports that Trump finally decided not to join the fighting against the Houthis in Yemen, thereby changing his position at the last minute after the Pentagon had already prepared an action plan.

After the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, pushed him to intervene, Trump ordered the Pentagon to prepare for airstrikes, but as mentioned yesterday, he changed his mind.

Most members of Trump's inner circle were very skeptical or outright opposed to joining Saudi Arabia's fight against the Houthis, especially given the pressures already on the US military in the war with Iran.

The attacks were already about to be carried out, when the list of targets had been approved and bombs had already been loaded on American planes, but at the last moment Trump withdrew and ordered the attacks to be canceled.
