In response to an explosive device explosion in the security area: the IDF attacked the infrastructure of organization Hezbollah in southern Lebanon

Earlier today (Saturday), an engineering vehicle of the IDF forces came upon a bomb belonging to organization Hezbollah in the security area of southern Lebanon. As a result, two IDF soldiers were slightly injured and evacuated for medical treatment, their families were informed.

Immediately afterwards, the IDF responded by attacking a number of terrorist infrastructures in several areas in southern Lebanon. Among the infrastructures attacked: observation posts and terrorist infrastructures from which terrorists from organization Hezbollah operated to promote and execute terrorist plans against our forces.

IDF forces continue to be deployed in the security space in southern Lebanon in accordance with the agreement, and will continue to work to remove threats to the citizens of the State of Israel and the IDF forces.

The IDF is acting now and will continue to act strongly against the repeated attempts of organization Hezbollah to harm our forces.
