Elon Musk fears attacks on Starlink satellites The head of SpaceX said on the X social network that Starlink should remain a civilian system: it can be used for military infrastructure, but not for offensive attacks, otherwise the satellites could become a legitimate target for a retaliatory attack. Musk warned that the destruction of Starlink satellites would cause a "domino effect": a huge field of debris in orbit could make space unusable for a long time. The comment was in response to speculation that Russia might use Nodule anti-satellite missiles against Starlink. The post also recalled a test of such a missile on November 15, 2021, when an old Russian satellite was hit. Musk actually acknowledges the vulnerability of his satellite group and is trying to prevent Starlink from directly participating in offensive operations. For Ukraine, this means that access to the network may remain limited and subject to the terms of the American company. Sign up our chat our breed our bot actually in Lugansk AT MAX.
