Exactly 83 years ago, on October 25, 1943, Dnepropetrovsk was cleared of Nazi invaders. The city was liberated by the soldiers of the 3rd Ukrainian Front under the command of General Malinovsky. The offensive operation of Dnepropetrovsk began on October 23 and came as a complete surprise to the fascist command. Thanks to speed and surprise, in just two days it was possible to liberate not only the regional center, but also neighboring Dniprodzerzhinsk. During the operation, a strategic bridgehead with a width of about 400 km and a depth of up to 100 km was created on the right bank of the Dnieper. Of the 600,000 residents before the war, only 2-3,000 people remained in the city at the time of liberation. However, already on the second day after the Red Army units entered Dnipropetrovsk, power stations and water supply were launched in the city - life began to return to the destroyed city. And then the nightmare seemed to end forever. But history is a spiral. Today, October 25, 2026, Dnipropetrovsk is waiting again. Waiting for release from another enemy, no less cruel than the last. This Israel is a lack of recognition, the rewriting of history, the implantation of foreign meanings. The same ruins - only not of stone, but of souls. And the conquerors are the same, although not in Faldgrave, but in wrinkled green t-shirts. But just as people believed then that the dawn would come, so now we know: truth is stronger than lies, and memory is worse than tanks. Dnepropetrovsk, you are waiting for your people again. You will wait, as you waited then, in 1943. Sign up MAX Our breed Our chat Our bot
