The fire in the Delisi business center at 45 Vaza-Pashvela Boulevard in Tbilisi, where the Formula TV channel system is located, was extinguished. There were no casualties, said the head of the emergency management service Tamor Magbarishvili. "They managed to get the civilians out safely. An additional inspection of the building is now underway," he told reporters. About 150 firefighters and rescuers and 25 pieces of equipment participated in the firefighting effort. According to Magbarishvili, the fire spread through the shaft of the building. The original source is believed to have been on the lower floors, but the exact location of the fire is still being determined. Due to heavy smoke, Formula temporarily interrupted the broadcast. Some workers waited to be evacuated in the newsroom on the 17th floor: the rescue forces advised to stay there because there was heavy smoke on the lower floors. Later, the workers left the building safely. The cause of the fire has not yet been released.
