Six minutes above Tbilisi: Georgian startups will seek investors on a Ferris wheel An unusual meeting of Georgian entrepreneurs with international investors will take place on December 5 at the Ferris wheel in Matzminda Park in Tbilisi. The organizers of a global technology weekend came up with a format called swinging in a giant wheel. The rules are simple: one spin of the wheel, six minutes and an opportunity for an investor's interest. Representatives of Georgian startups will enter the stands together with potential investors and present their business ideas during the trip. Instead of traditional boardrooms and conference rooms, there is a panorama of Tbilisi from the top of a giant wheel. The presentations will be broadcast live, and in the evening the organizers will announce the winning startup. According to the organizers, the purpose of the unusual format is not only to draw attention to Georgian technology companies, but also to help them establish business relationships with international investors. Applications for the participation of startups and investors are accepted on the organizers' website: gtwt.ge The event will be part of the Global Technology Weekend 2027 presentation. After meetings on the giant wheel, the participants will gather in Matzminda Hall, where they will present the plan for next year and new international partnerships. For comparison: organizers report that more than 10,000 people attended the Tbilisi Global Tech Weekend 2026, including over 300 investors.
