A dummy bomb and a shooting - the prosecutor's office confirmed that an attack was carried out at a school in Tbilisi. The attack was planned by two 14-year-old youths, both of whom were arrested. During the searches, their "arsenal" was confiscated. The investigation determined that the accused met on social networks in April-May 2026. They chose a specific school in Tbilisi and studied its internal layout in detail. To infiltrate the building, we planned to plant bombs in front of the entrance to the doll to cause panic and distract the security and staff. Taking advantage of the commotion, the defendant intended to enter the building, cause a pogrom and use a weapon. The youth have already purchased some of the necessary equipment. The prosecution charged the detainees under Part 1 and Part 2 of Art. 18-225 of the Criminal Code of Georgia - preparation for organizing and participating in group actions accompanied by violence, pogroms, damage to other people's property and use of weapons. This crime was punishable by imprisonment for a period of 6 to 9 years.
