Opposition Leader Yair Lapid: "What we are seeing tonight is an attempt to crush democracy and steal the elections with the help of the ruling elites in the security system. This is a direct threat to our democracy from people who are unwilling to admit defeat. I call on all state institutions to stand firm against this attempt, and to my friends in the camp to put everything aside and form a government as soon as possible."
