The approved plan is intended to strengthen the hospital's status as a super hospital, serving the residents of Haifa and the entire northern region, by allowing it to expand the scope of its medical activities, add advanced medical services and facilities, and increase the number of inpatient beds from 976 today to approximately 1,875 in the target year.
