The competition authority announced that it is preparing the merger of Kimberly-Clark, the manufacturer of Kotex and Lilly, with Canbio, the manufacturer of Ova and Carprey, in the sale of all of Kimberly's feminine hygiene activities in Israel to an independent buyer. According to the commissioner, the merger would have left only two competitors in the industry and made the products more expensive.
