In one of the cases described in the indictment, Amos tried to kiss a student already in her first driving lesson, and later hugged her and tried to kiss her again. As a result of his behavior, the student stopped studying with him. On another occasion, he approached and pulled a female student towards him. He hugged and kissed her on the cheek against her will, while she tried to get away from him. After a passing driver noticed what was happening and slowed down his car, Amos left the scene.
