The constitutional crisis in Poland is intensifying: tonight President Karol Nabrotsky arrived at the Constitutional Court, where he confronted judges whose appointments he refuses to recognize. At the entrance to the building, a physical confrontation developed between President Nabrotsky and the judges, and both sides accuse each other of responsibility for the incident. Inside the building Nabrotsky confronted one of the judges, Anna Korwin-Piotrovska, who told him: "We are judges at the Constitutional Court." The president replied: "You are not judges in the Constitutional Court." The vice president of the court, who was allegedly dismissed by the government, continues to stay in his office and insists that his dismissal has no legal effect.
