The Australian court rejected the appeal of Erin Patterson, who was nicknamed the "Mushroom Killer", after she was convicted of murdering her husband's parents and another relative using poisoned mushrooms that she put in the meal she served them. The court made her sentence worse, stating that she could never be released on parole, even though the original sentence stipulated that she could try to be released after serving a sentence of 33 years.
