The Tax Authority announced new security guidelines for airlines, according to which they will be required to transfer the details of crew members on flights to Israel at least 48 hours before takeoff. The move is intended to allow the security forces a longer preparation time and to improve civil aviation security. According to the guidelines, the companies will be required to update the crew details during check-in, no later than two hours before take-off, and to provide a complete and final list of crew members on the actual take-off date.
