The Lebanese Al-Akhbar newspaper, which is affiliated with the Shiite axis, reported: The mediators' new proposal is based on "mutual commitments" of the two countries within a five-day time frame, which includes the opening of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran in exchange for the lifting of the naval blockade by the US. Along with this, it was emphasized that the initiative requires concessions from Tehran in the nuclear field, including the granting of permits to carry out inspections at the nuclear facilities, during this period of time.
