The appointment of a Knesset Speaker on behalf of the Change Bloc may give the opposition temporary control of the Mishkan and allow it to promote limited legislation, but the move may have a heavy political price: additional elections under difficult conditions and criticism of parliamentary cooperation with the joint list.
