Yehuda Cohen, 59 years old, who until recently served as the Chief Rabbinate, died last Friday at Hillel Yaffe Hospital in Hadera. The late Cohen was seriously injured on Wednesday, after a concrete beam fell on his head at a construction site. His funeral will take place tonight at 10:30 PM in Kfar HaRa. Chief Rabbi David Yosef eulogized him: "He was a man of dedication and loyalty, who saw his work as a sacred mission, and worked with all his might to strengthen the Chief Rabbinate and strengthen the kashrut system. Participates from the bottom of my heart in the heavy sorrow of the members of the dear family. May his soul be bundled in the bundle of life."
