France: The "Yellow Vests" movement called for a nationwide protest day on October 31 "to protect public liberties". The protest movement is planning demonstrations in front of the National Assembly building in Paris and in front of municipal buildings throughout France in protest of what the members of the movement call "the authoritarian tendency of the government".
