The Philippine government has announced a reward of 50 million pesos, about $787,000, for anyone who will help capture incumbent Senator Ronald "Beto" Dela Rosa, former chief of the National Police, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court in The Hague. Dela Rosa was one of the leaders of former President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs, and the tribunal attributes alleged criminal responsibility to him for murders committed as part of the operation, in which thousands of people were killed.
