The White House announced that a ceasefire was reached between Russia and Ukraine in the Oleshki sector of the Kherson region, mediated by Melania Trump. Oleshki is a Ukrainian city occupied by Russia and under heavy siege. In recent months, the humanitarian situation in it has deteriorated particularly severely, until it was reported that the 2,000 residents who remain there are forced to rely on grass as a source of food.
