A report in the Wall Street Journal: The mediators in the negotiations between Iran and the US are working urgently and feverishly in an attempt to prevent escalation and the renewal of the war. As part of the diplomatic efforts, several proposals were made, including the release of some of the Iranian funds frozen abroad, plus interest, in exchange for concessions in the nuclear field, such as giving the International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors the opportunity to return to Iran.
