The Or Shalom Association inaugurated a new family residence in Eilat, in a house donated by the Jewish Federation of Toronto, which operates under the auspices of Canada. The daycare center will provide a stable family framework and emotional, educational and therapeutic support for children and teenagers aged 6-18 who have been removed from their homes by court order. The house was dedicated by the Shulich Foundation in honor of Ted Sokolsky, the former CEO of the Federation, and it joins the array of services that the association operates in the city in cooperation with the Eilat Municipality.
