The Supreme Court rejected the request of the Dead Sea Enterprises for further discussion of the ruling requiring it to pay water fees for the water it produced from the concession area in the Dead Sea. This made the verdict final, and the payment for the years 2030-2017 is expected to amount to half a billion shekels. According to Adam Teva and Din, ICL has already transferred more than NIS 330 million following the verdict, and the funds are expected to return to the public through the water sector.
