An innovative and unique knee implant printed in 3D at the Levin Center for Surgical Innovation of the Ichilov Medical Center advanced to the finals of the innovation competition of the Formnext 2026 exhibition in Frankfurt. The implant saved the leg of a 17-year-old boy from an aggressive cancerous tumor while fully preserving the knee joint and preventing permanent disability.
