The Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum informed Foreign Minister Sa'ar of accepting Israel as a Forum Partner. The decision was made at the meeting of the heads of the member states of the forum, which took place in Palau. As part of its new status, Israel will be integrated into a track that allows focused cooperation in areas of common interest.
