French Prime Minister Sebastien LeCorneau said that the one-time curfew imposed tonight in certain areas of Paris and other cities, after several days of violent demonstrations, helped to maintain peace during the night. He added that the local authorities will be able to impose a spot curfew tonight as well, in places where it will be necessary.
