The District Court in Haifa convicted Mazid Hamdan of bribing Zeev Dolinsky, former advisor to President Reuven Rivlin. According to the indictment, Hamdan transferred at least 6,000 shekels to Dolinsky in 2018-2020 in exchange for assistance in advancing applications with government officials. As part of the plea deal, the parties will appeal for a sentence of six and a half months in prison to be served with community service.
