A report in the Qatari Al-Arabi Al-Jadid newspaper from sources familiar with the mediation efforts - which has no confirmation from another source: a breakthrough is expected to be announced this week, in order to stop the escalation between Washington and Tehran. Mediation efforts continue to reduce the points of disagreement between the parties and to encourage them to offer mutual concessions to prevent the renewal of the war. We will emphasize that at this stage this is a single report, while in the background the threats regarding entering into fighting between the parties continue.
