Monday in a row of widespread violent riots in Milan under the auspices of demonstrations against the cost of living. The demonstrations this evening turned into a serious sequence of acts of looting in the city center, and the media reported that over 200 people were arrested, more than 80% of them minors. Prime Minister George Maloney announced that an emergency meeting will be held tomorrow to discuss the situation.
