Just before the elections, the government is promoting another 4.9% cut in the budgets of the government ministries, including education, health and welfare, in order to finance defense procurement in the amount of NIS 2.6 billion. According to the proposed resolution, the cut will apply to the ministries' budgets, while the coalition funds are again not included in it.
