Israel's Foreign Correspondents' Office issued a scathing message after the attack on Washington Post photographer Heidi Levin: "We call on the army to stop making excuses and do its job of protecting civilians from attackers. We call on the authorities to catch the rioters, and on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to stop dismissing these attacks, and start recognizing the seriousness of the problem."
