In his speech he said: "The fact is that for thousands of years the Jewish people suffered from oppression, discrimination and murder. Europe was responsible for a large part of this, it is perfectly understandable that the Jews sought a place of refuge for themselves. That cannot be disputed. But another thing that cannot be denied is that they took land from other people and behaved excessively."
