The High Court rejected the Castellman family's petition to order the prosecutor to order the opening of a criminal investigation against the police officers in the Jerusalem district who investigated their son, after their appeal on the matter was rejected. "The examination of the materials that were placed before us as part of the parties' written and oral claims does not reveal a reason to interfere with the respondent's decision not to open a criminal investigation against the police officials," the judges wrote.
