An OpenAI employee was arrested in the US on suspicion of planting a hidden recording device in a meeting room of the company's executives in San Francisco, to record sensitive conversations about its artificial intelligence technology. According to the US Department of Justice, the suspect, a 35-year-old Saudi engineer, was arrested on October 9 and fired from the company. The device was discovered at the end of September.
