The Committee for National Infrastructures has begun promoting a plan to lay two underwater communication cables, which will make Israel part of an international communication axis connecting Europe and Asia. The cables will go from Italy and France through Israel, Jordan and Saudi Arabia to India, and later are expected to reach Singapore as well
