"The accused surprised the captain of the plane inside the cockpit and attacked him with the emergency ax, while the captain resisted the attack and tried to call for help. On board the plane was also the captain of the return flight, who happened to be near the cockpit at the time of the attack," described the Attorney General. "He noticed the repeated opening and closing of the cabin door in an unusual manner, which aroused his suspicion. He approached the cabin and tried to enter using the secret code, until he succeeded and saw the accused attacking the captain"
