The US imposed sanctions on 17 vessels for the transfer of Iranian crude oil, petroleum products, and petrochemicals. An official at the US Treasury Department said that the US estimates that Iran has 20 million barrels of crude oil left on vessels located beyond the US blockade of ports in Iran.
