France summoned Iran's ambassador following what a Foreign Ministry spokesman described as an "Iranian disinformation campaign directed against the protest movement of high school students in France." According to the spokesman, the ambassador is confronted with the fact that the content distributed online by official accounts of the Iranian Foreign Ministry is "completely unacceptable".
