The proposal, submitted by the "Greens for Palestine" group of friends, describes Zionism as a political ideology that calls for the establishment of a "Jewish state based on ethnic nationalism... while excluding the non-Jewish population in it." The party delegates approved the proposal by a majority of 56% against 44%, although only 1,835 out of more than 200,000 party members participated in the vote. The proposal also calls for the establishment of a single Palestinian state, where there will be "equal rights for all", including Jews. There is no mention of the existence of the State of Israel in it, not even in the outline of two states
