US President Donald Trump has announced that he will appoint attorney John Cole as the special presidential envoy for abductees. Trump noted that in the past year, Cole helped return more than 65 American citizens and citizens of other countries, and negotiate the release of more than 800 political prisoners in Eastern Europe.
